Woodward Governor Experts

Our technical director David Berry, having worked for an official Woodward agent in the past, has over 15 years’ experience working with Woodward Governors on a range of different vessels.

Having undertaken official Woodward training at Woodward Hoofddorp, Holland, David has extensive knowledge and experience with Woodward Governor servicing, overhauls and repairs.

Woodward Servicing, Repairs & Overhauls

At PGS we have full in-house service and test facilities and are well equipped to provide service on most Woodward mechanical governors and electronic actuators.

All Woodward units received undergo a full test to ascertain the current state and calibration of the unit in line with the manufacturer’s test specification. The service process in which we fully dismantle clean, check, measure tolerances and replace any broken/wearing parts. The unit is then fully rebuilt tested and calibrated to manufacturers or customer required TSP specifications.

We also offer technical attendance to site and over the phone technical assistance should you have any engine governing related issues. We are always on hand to assist with issues you may be experiencing, and Troubleshooting is one of our strong points.

We will help you to get you back on track as soon as possible.

Pricing

We aim to offer a clear pricing structure with no hidden costs from the start. Anything outside our service exchange prices will be fully disclosed and all surcharges will reflect the genuine condition of any received governor into our workshop.
